Say "Turkey!"

Katie's family is hosting not only me, but Katie's international
friends who have never had Thanksgiving before. Needless to say there
were posed photos of turkey cutting.

Happy Thanksgiving

For my first Thanksgiving away from the bussom of my family I've
traveled to the site of the "first official Thanksgiving" on the
shores of the James River at Berkeley Plantation. Here, on December 4,
1619, Capt. John Woodliffe and 38 of his fellow settlers landed and
gave thanks. I showed up a few days early, per usual.

Depression squared

What's more depressing than your local bike shop going out of
business? Finding NOTHING at their liquidation sale.

Pay off.

The bill passes the House with a slim margin and ONE Republican, so it
can be called "bipartisan". The press is looking for him now but can't
find him.

It could be getting late here....

Hopefully it ends before I become diabetic.

Floor Time

My boss just finished speaking on the floor on health care reform.

Photo replacement

I suppose this is the photo I should have posted last night.

The Adventures of Titin in Georgetown

Now I don't know if Herge would have written a story about his intrepid young Belgian reporter chasing down clues to a mystery in dark, wet and cold Georgetown, but I felt as though the canal made the perfect backdrop for my Tintin. While I didn't have a fox terrier to follow me around, I did have in tow Liz Lemon and Jack Donaghy from 30 Rock as well as a Congressional intern named "Eileen Dover". Adventures enough.
